↳ ‘Borrowed settings’ is a collection of drawings where collage and remixing play an important part. Drawings, paintings, found images and photographs are cut up and collaged into new compositions and redrawn. Flowing pencil or brush strokes are broken up, flipped and replaced, finding new chance connections. Glitches and the small white spaces that are the residu of the collage proces, appear as new elements in the drawings.

↳ The Conqueror Serie is a large collection of drawings in envelopes, showing drawn fragments of images selected from various news media (Conqueror refers to the specific brand of the envelop). The window of the envelop frames the selection, only showing a part of the chosen image, thereby loosing a clear context and meaning. The drawings were shown in grids of various dimensions, in constantly changing selections and compositions, forming new combinations and new stories.
